“I drive in from Wisconsin for my Asian grocery needs, but especially for the meat selection. Whole ducks, duck legs to confit for cassoulet, and an amazing array of fresh meats. Chicken necks/feet, beef bones, and pork feet to make broth and stock. Just so many things I can't buy locally. Other than my local grocery that gives 10% off for seniors, it's my favorite grocery store!”
“What a gem. Came here looking for fresh basil and they had LOTS, of course. And, several types. The produce is amazing. I was excited to find bok choy and mushrooms and so many produce items for great prices and amazing quality. The Asian noodle aisle is huge....such a variety. It will be a regular stop for me to get the fresh fresh greens I look for and can't find or are $$$$ at regular grocery stores!”
“Great Asian grocery with lots of fresh options, plenty of variety and a decent in-house deli with food made fresh daily. Definitely worth checking out!”
“This is one of the cleanest grocery store I’ve ever been to. Great customer service - I needed 14lbs of ground pork and the butcher shop ground it for me. Easy to find items and well stocked.
The deli & hot food is fresh & has a lot of great options.”
“Trying to find an Asian ingredient or snack or drink or hot foods? This is the place. A super wide range of veggies, fruits, frozen foods, and so much more. From Hot Pot ingredients to the latest Instant Ramen to making your favorite Lao or Korean dish, Ha Tien is where you go to get what you need.
The aisles are very well organized and very easy to navigate. While some of the aisles are tight from stocking, it's still easy to navigate through the store. It is ADA accessible.
Hot foods are well made. Ha Tien is known for their Bahn Mi sandwiches-to-go. They're decent but if only the price reflected the quality, it would be worth it. But if it's your first time here, give it a try.
Plenty of traditional Asian snacks and sweets to fill up your road trip or stomach. This is THE asian grocery store that is a staple in the community.
Would highly recommend coming here.”
“The pastries are good!! Would def return if only I wasn't across the city. Will try to when I can.
Also they only make bahn mis at certain times now. Arrived at 5:30pm hoping they could custom make some fresh for us but they were already sold out & done cleaning up the deli. I'd say if you are stopping for Deli food, don't go once it's past 4:30pm or something.
The papaya is not that good.”
“Wouldn’t accept spoiled tteokbokki return in the original sealed container. Non-refrigerated variant. The manager asked why I didn’t try to return the product sooner, and said I don’t open my food until I’m ready to cook it. Manager states you should open your food before you leave the store to check it. Losing a long time customer over a $4 return is not a good business practice.”
“Love the choices you have for all the yum yum. Hope in calms down so HT can go back to reg hours on weekends. We were so sad you were out of roast pork at 2pm on Saturday.”
